Massat Hoyer Consulting is our response to the increasing pace of change in US sales tax regulations. The Wayfair decision in 06/2018 introduced the system of economic nexus, which enormously increased the complexity of sales and use tax management. Since then, most states have introduced new sales and use tax obligations, also known as nexus. However, no two states' nexus laws are the same, resulting in more than 13,000 different sales tax jurisdictions for remote sellers.
Very good knowledge of the host country language is no longer sufficient today. You must have a good understanding of local habits and go beyond cultural gaps that may exist between business actors of different backgrounds.

ANDREW A. MASSAT
PARTNER
Andrew brings over a decade of experience in functional and business process modelling to client projects at Massat Consulting Group. After three years at Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, Andrew joined the family business in New York in 2013.
Serge J. Massat
PARTNER
After developing a joint venture consulting department with the US subsidiary of a French bank Serge started his own independent CPA practice in New York in 1986. He went on to open offices in Mexico (1994), Miami (2010) and Luxembourg (2015).
Valentin Hoyer
